Village of Antwerp

The Village of Antwerp provides water and sewer services to its residents.  Water/Sewer bills are mailed out quarterly in January, April, July, and October.  Water usage is metered and sewer usage charges are based on the metered water usage. 

It has come to our attention that many people are using flushable wipes.  These wipes although flushable are NOT to be introduced into the sewer system.  The do not break down and are causing damage to the pumps.  We are trying to hold the line on sewer usage rates but if we are continually repairing/replacing pumps you the users will pay for it through higher rates.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation.  

The Village of Antwerp provides garbage and recycling pickup.  Garbage stickers are available at the Village Office.  We offer $1.00 stickers for 15 gallon bags and $2.00 stickers for 30 gallon bags.  All garbage is to be placed at the curb no later than 7:30 am Friday mornings. Garbage must be in clear or white bags. Recycleables are picked up for free on the first and third Friday of the month, however, they must be clean and sorted.  Contact the Village Clerk for a list of recycleable items and sorting instructions.
